Omefa 20mg Capsule is a medication used to reduce stomach acid production and treat acid-related stomach and intestine diseases like heartburn, acid reflux, peptic ulcer disease, and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. It is best taken one hour before a meal, preferably in the morning, and the dose depends on the underlying condition. To increase treatment efficiency, eat smaller meals more often and avoid caffeinated drinks and spicy or fatty foods. Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, headache, flatulence, diarrhea, and stomach pain. Long-term use may increase the risk of side effects, such as bone fractures. Before taking Omefa, inform your doctor about any liver problems, allergic reactions, or bone loss. Also, inform them about other medicines, especially those for HIV, fungal infections, tuberculosis, epilepsy, or blood thinners. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should also consult their doctor.
