Miconol Gel is an antifungal medication used to treat fungal or yeast infections of the skin, such as athlete's foot, jock itch, candidiasis, and ringworm. It contains miconazole and can inhibit fungal growth, reducing infection. It may take 4-7 days to reduce symptoms, and continued treatment is recommended. Side effects may include redness, rash, itching, and blister formation. Patients should inform their doctor if they are allergic to miconazole, taking anticoagulants, immunosuppressants, antifungals, antibiotics, or have diabetes or chemotherapy.
