Ibandrox-150 Tablet is a medication used to treat and prevent postmenopausal osteoporosis in women. It strengthens bones by stopping osteoclasts from breaking down bone, reducing fracture risk. It is best taken without food and should be taken regularly at prescribed intervals. It is part of a treatment program that may include diet changes and calcium and vitamin supplements. Common side effects include headache, increased blood cholesterol, dizziness, upper respiratory tract infection, urinary tract infection, musculoskeletal pain, indigestion, heartburn, and diarrhea. It can cause serious kidney problems, low calcium levels, and pain in the mouth or jaw. It should not be given to breastfeeding patients, and other medications may affect its effects.
