It can also treat typhoid fever in children and adolescents. The dosage depends on the infection type, severity, age, and body weight. It should not be given to children with cold and flu symptoms, as they are usually viral infections. Side effects like vomiting, diarrhea, nausea, abdominal pain, and allergy may disappear with time.
