In order to work, it binds to receptors in fat cells and helps them to be removed from circulation and as a result, insulin sensitivity is increased. The side effects of this medication include weight gain, headaches, muscle pains, sore throat, and acidity. The typical recommended dosage is around 15-45 mg per day.
